If almost every job requires native-level German, then what is the point of creating a visa specifically to attract foreign workers?

Reddit is full of smug, miserable people with zero empathy. Foreigners leave behind their families, careers, and entire lives just for a chance at the basic stability and quality of life that many Germans take for granted.

Then the response is always the same: “Haha, good luck finding a job with your skills and language level.”

That is not advice. It is just arrogance.

I have been in Germany for the past 3 months. I have been trying to get a hold of the LEA to ask some questions and get some answers about my legal stay here in Berlin. I have filled the form and sent emails 4 times already, but I never got a response or appointment.

What should I do?

I work fully remotely as a software developer for a company outside Germany. I am a contractor, not on German payroll.

I am currently in Germany on a Chancenkarte, and from what I understand, I may not be allowed to continue this remote contractor work while searching for a German job. I am still waiting for a clear answer from LEA/Ausländerbehörde.

What I do not understand is this:

How are people expected to survive financially if they already have a stable remote job, are willing to declare the income in Germany, and pay taxes properly?

Am I really supposed to quit a safe job, burn through my savings, and hope I find something quickly in Germany? That feels like a terrible financial decision, especially when the job search is not guaranteed.

Has anyone dealt with this on a Chancenkarte or similar permit?

I am mainly looking for real experiences from people doing remote work for a foreign company, especially as contractors/self-employed.

Edit: if germany has been in financial recession for some time (as some local germans told me), why not make it easier for qualified people to come and look for a job here? They always want to take and not give back.
