I think I have a malware infection on my computer.

When I open chrome, edge, or any other search engine it brings me to a third party page on chrome. Upon opening a new tab on this page, it says something about “newtab(dot)art” When I search something up on said tab, it brings me to “nextgeeker(dot)com” How can I effectively fix this for good?

I already tried a few things people have told me:
- windows+r then MRT to use the malicious software removal tool; it said there were no threats.
- I also checked my chrome extensions and I don’t have any. I need help!
