Took me over 600 days to achieve these odds!

I did 110 pulls on this banner for me to finally get that pesky Providence achievement that I had seen someone else asking about (see pic 2). I have proof that it really is possible but the odds are very much not in any player's favor.

I know when people see other peoples' lucky pulls, it often makes them think that the OP's luck is something the viewer should also expect to get. I also see people get very disappointed, even to the point of wanting to give up on the game if they aren't as lucky. I post this not to discourage others, but to let people know that while this achievement can be possible for a VERY FEW people, it is very ultra super highly unlikely.

How "very ultra super highly unlikely," you ask? According to a probability calculator and a ton of math (and correct me if my math is wrong), the probability is 0.00018% or 1 in 555,000 trials to get these results in 110 pulls.

I also want to mention that I was guaranteed the first 50/50 of the triple 10 pull. This wasn't me getting this luck on my first try. I've been playing gachas like Genshin, HSR, and Wuthering waves, too, on multiple accounts (including asia and NA servers) for over 5 years. I've never achieved a triple pull until now.

Also, I did not spend any IRL $$ since June. The pull history will look like 113 because I forgot to use the last 3 'free' expiring wishes and forgot to screenshot before (see last 2 pics).

So, the TLDR is:

The Providence achievement is technically possible (0.00018% or 1 in 550,000 tries), but the vast majority of players probably will not achieve it. If you don't get 3 in 10, don't worry, you've done nothing wrong. It's the luck of the draw.

Sims 4 sale just changed, now it's even worse!!! Did anyone else notice??

TLDR: Frustration about sneaky change of prices before the sale was allegedly over (had till first week of Aug).

If anyone is considering buying the bundle sale, just BE WARE THE PRICE HAS CHANGED FOR THE WORSE!!!

I've been waiting years for the horse ranch to go on sale (though I didn't regularly check sales, the point being I've waited years to get the pack). Then I had seen there was a bundle sale for at least the last week and I was on the fence on getting stuff. It said I had to buy like 26 items to get 60% off, I even made a nerdy sale table online with how unbelievably bad the 26 packs for 60% off deal was, seeing as you only needed to buy like 5 or 6 packs to get 50% off. So I had a bunch of items in my cart, undecided if I was going to buy them.

Today I had decided I wanted to buy some of them, enough to get 50% off, only to see they sneakily changed the sale so the most you can get is now only 40% off and you still have to buy at least 25 packs??? But the last time I checked sims 4, not but a couple days ago, they claimed this 60% off sale would last into August so I thought I had plenty of time. I'd ask how they're allowed to do this, but it's AE, so... (unfortunately, company name is somehow autoflagged for posting, but you know who I mean).

Silly me for not having screenshots of the original sale for proof, but what the heck, >insert company who cannot be named< That was going to be my last hurrah for the sims, but now, I can't even get that sale. Am I the only one who noticed this change within the last few days?? Does anyone have screenshots of the original sale? If so, I'd like to know. Here's the current, worse sale.

So I guess I'm done here. Consider me deeply saddened and devastated that my childhood with sims 4 is over and that their 'sales' are trashy and sneaky (though sadly, not surprising).

Are Reruns Worth It?

This post was inspired by a comment I made on another person's post, but I made these totally beautiful 100% profesheonal looking infographic for those wondering.

Are Promise reruns worth it?

IMO, NO! *Absolutely Not!* But, I'll let you decide for yourself.

note that each copy will require purple crystals, NOT red f2p-earnable diamonds.

IMO, reruns by infold are extremely predatory, especially towards new players and this post is here for those who are new or haven't fully read what this rerun does or does not come with, and also how much things cost. Now that you do understand what is or isn't included, I feel you'll be better educated on whether or not a promise rerun is for you.
