Is The Sims 2 really that good?
I hear a lot of people saying that The Sims 2 is amazing, that it's the most complex and complete in terms of life simulation, that the Sims are complex and much more evolved than in The Sims 3 or 4. Is that true?

It’s so funny to me that they used refrigerators instead of school lockers 😭 I know it was 2004 and they probably didn’t have any other alternative, but I still find it hilarious

Sims' stuck in "fine" moodlet and not having any other emotions effect them
My sim is stuck in fine, even though other emotions are there. The only one that actually effects them is the sleeping one, other than that, nothing (I even got the achievement for having a sim be neutral for 24 hours) This used to be a two sim household, and it only affected this sim, even though i created both of them when I started the save. I'm fairly sure it's a mod, but I can not for the life of me figure out which one, and better exceptions is saying everything is fine. Any ideas?

The fact that we still can’t drive in sims is insane
I really wish someone would create a gta sims like game with the best components of both ( crime , but you can start a family, raise babies , go to college etc ) where we could actually get in a car and drive. Sims has been around for ages this is unacceptable

Hi hi everyone!! I’ve posted here before about my past mods! today I’ve created a free mini mod for the sims 4 for those who use the university expansion pack / own it / wanna use it but kindaaa hate the hard work 🎓.
With this mod you simply can just click your sim, find the category of the degree you want, pick honors or standard and you’ll be given both degrees from foxbury and BriteChester.
It literally is that simple! Sims 4 has 13 degrees, all 13 have 4 degrees per degree? So 2 from foxbury, 2 from britchester. With this mod your sim can be given honors from both universities or standard degrees from both as well! ☀️ I know we have other cheat mods that can easily do this for us but with my mod you simply just click your sim and pick it! I made it easy because I don’t like clicking through a Bunch of things just to find the degree I want or which is which for Me! It can get a little confusing and I hope this is right for those of you who just wanna skip the whole class this and just roleolay that your sim TOTALLY was class of 2026 at foxbury and got their degree.

What’s the most interesting or intriguing story you’ve ever had in The Sims 2?
I’m curious to hear about the stories you guys have created while playing The Sims 2, whether they involve families you made yourself or the premade families that came with the game.
I’m talking about everything from crazy family drama, affairs, betrayals and unexpected deaths to genuinely interesting storylines that developed naturally as you played. Especially those situations where things got way more complicated than you originally planned.
I’ve always found it fascinating how the premade families already have so much lore and so many unresolved mysteries, but I’m also curious about the stories people have come up with on their own.

Why is my infant a vampire? No vampire lineage
My super sim just had her second baby and somehow it’s a vampire? Wondering if anyone knows why? The father has the dormant werewolf trait but no vampire traits and the mother who is a super sim has Sulani Mana, Ancient bloodline, dormant wolf and grim descendant but has never been a vampire. Does this happen with having maxed the vampire lore skill?
