I am looking for a new carry pistol, and I have spent a lot of time training on the M17 in the military so I want something with a similar flick-down manual safety that gives my thumb a good rest on. P365X is my current leader, but I also know there's plenty of good less expensive brands out there (current carry is a Walther PPS). I have been out of the civilian pistol game for several years so I'm frankly just not familiar with the current offerings beyond browsing whatever local gun stores have behind the glass on any given day.
