I'm so tired of other non-religious people blinding defending religion.
So many people who have never experienced the depths of religion or have ever read the bible, and yet they still buy into the whole "we should respect others beliefs" bullshit without even bothering to learn about what they're actually defending.
People are so quick to buy into the "Jesus loves everyone!" narrative that christians love to shove everywhere, while being completely ignorant that love as the bible and most churches teach is the toxic 'love' an abuser and not actual love. And then despite all the obvious religious hate groups, they manage to convince themselves that those groups must be the "bad ones", failing or unwilling to acknowledge that many of these groups have literally been indoctrinated to believe that the hateful and harmful things they're doing are actually loving and a fight to save people's souls (people have literally killed people like abortion providers while convinced they're doing something good, loving, and just).
They also vastly underestimate how common such "extreme" beliefs or fanaticism is (people who have never been indoctrinated into it don't understand the twisted mental state you end up, in and the insane mental gymnastics you end up doing to excuse awful things).
