Ended up with the Skyflake and Clifton Baumatic as my core pair. Always been a fan of minimal classic designs and craftsmanship. After years of collecting watches Ireturned to my core taste. I enjoy quieter classic watches with strong finishing. Blues all the way! That itch of adding another is gone this time... hopefully truly.
In 2024 I bought my first ever Seiko and with that my first mechanical automatic watch SNKA05K1. I wanted a black dial in this variant but all blacks and whites were out of stock and only blue was in the inventory. I went ahead despite not being a fan of sunray dials. This one changed my perspective. I was thrilled with this beautiful piece when it arrived Back then it was quite expensive for me, and the most expensive watch I owned. I thought this would be the only watch I would wear and I don't need another. I was so wrong 😂 Since then I have added many Seikos, and others. Looking back this one reminds me of the beginning of a rewarding watch collection journey, with this remaining one of my favourites.
