Making A Case For Star Fox's Strange New Direction

Making A Case For Star Fox's Strange New Direction

I took some time to organize my thoughts on the matter and ended up making a fairly long video about it, since I haven't seen a lot of people talk about it at length in a positive light. Let me know what you think.

An interesting direction they could take with Krystal's redesign

Just came across this concept by Gerovort from a few years ago and it really made me think about how there is a non zero chance that they might do something like that with Krystal in a future game. Seeing as how the new art direction is going for more transparent designs that help communicate who these people are and the overall stronger space opera vibe, knowing Krystal is from outside the Lylat system it would make sense for her to look more alien, especially from a Cornerian perspective. It could help with keeping aspects of her design that people are really attached to as well. What do you think?

I'm very excited to see all the cutscenes this game has to offer

I love how subtly expressive all the characters are they really are making great use of the new models in these cutscenes. Seeing them interact around the great fox more is so awesome.
