Just decided to play both tlou games, and oh boy part 2 is so off..
Part 1 was an absolute masterpiece.. no complains
Part 2 isn't just disappointing, it's terrible..
I assume people talked enough about joel's death..
So let me point out the other annoying parts of this story..
This story felt so forced to act out a certain way and every character's fate is just up to the writer's decisions whether they'd be offed or kept alive
Abby systematically kills and ruins everybody we loved's lives? She wins almost every interaction and beats the living hell out of everybody we care about
She has thick plot armor that let's her survive impossible odds
We don't mention enough how in every cutscene where a mob attack abby, they would almost always have bats or rods and they only land non lethal attacks on her despite the super vulnerability
Abby goes in a place where tommy, ellie, dana, jesse are all in and she almost kills them all with a gun and her fists
Dana doesn't even attack her with a gun but throws (AGAIN) non lethal attacks at her with a knife
Again I won't mention joel as I'm so pissed off by how absurd it is
Right from the beginning of Abby's section, the writer forces stupid interactions that are clearly made to look cute to force sympathy from us
I mean the words exchanged between abby and her dad are so corny I almost threw up, we all know people don't talk like that irl
Don't get me started on that sex scene
I laughed when the war broke out at the end of abby's section and everyone looked at her and lev and started shouting "kill that traitor" "kill the heretic" over and over, it's a very stupid and blatant way to portray slavery and religious fanaticism.
By the end of the game I was greatly disappointed and annoyed by how bad the writing of this game was
It didn't feel like the last of us at all during some sections and the message was all over the place
If you look at the fanfics and theories before the game's release, you would've never seen something as absurd as "a RANDOM female npc on STEROIDS kills joel with a GOLF club within the FIRST few scenes, and HALF of this story is ONLY going to be about her story"
The whole case surely bothers me, but I find it much easier to pretend this game isn't canon and joel lives happily with ellie.
First time ever riding a roller coaster.. and it was wildcat's revenge.
I'm 25 and I went to hersheypark last week, I went with community's recommendation to try out the rides in the back first.

I have never tried any kind of roller coaster before other than a couple of small trains I rode when I was a kid.. I was definitely not expecting it to be like this AT ALL.

I was calm and excited during the wait time until I was strapped in, that's when my brain really started to tell me "this might be a very bad idea" and I started feeling alarmed about the seriousness of this ride I'm embarking.

The roller coaster took some small turns at first which confirmed my fears but still wasn't enough to make me panic..

And that's when the first big drop happened.. it was so bad that for the first time in my life I never felt so alarmed, scared, rushed, and mentally out of control at the same time.

The pressure from g force made my vision blurry and I couldn't stop screaming uncontrollably, add to that the intense feeling of unsafety as I felt my torso was going to rip off and fly away at any moment, I genuinely thought I was going to die.

The ride continued with smaller drops which helped me enjoy it despite all the intensity, but after all I realized that ROLLER COASTERS ARE NOT A JOKE.

Everything I imagined about it was so off and it's totally different from what I expected.

Anyways just wanted to share that with yall, I still had the nerve to try lightning racer and fahrenheit afterwards but I had to stop after these three as I started feeling dizzy.

These are some amazing rides I'll never forget and will definitely get back to again someday.
