Medics & team building

To clarify, I am strictly talking about Co-op Checkpoint mode! I completely agree this would be chaotic in PvP, but it would be incredible against the AI. Feature Suggestion: "No Man Left Behind" Medic & Drag Mechanics

The Problem

Current gameplay heavily rewards individual kill counts over strategic cooperation. This creates a toxic "kill frenzy" mindset where players prioritize personal stats over team success. Lower-level players, or those holding vital defensive flanks, are often overlooked on the scoreboard. A player with 4 critical defensive kills might be mocked by a player with 75 kills, ignoring the fact that those 75 kills were only possible because the defensive line held. The game is fundamentally a team experience, but the current scoring loop rewards selfish play.

The Solution

Introduce an Incapacitation & Rescue System paired with an Advanced Recognition Loop:

  • Drag Mechanic: Allow active players to grab and pull downed teammates out of the line of fire into cover.
  • Bleed-Out Stabilization: Slow down a teammate's death timer by applying basic field dressing.
  • Universal Medical Gear: Give every class access to a limited medical item (like a basic first-aid pack) so everyone can contribute to keeping the squad alive.
  • Contextual End-of-Match Accolades: Implement a post-game summary screen that highlights under-recognized achievements, such as "Flank Guard" (most kills near objective borders), "Lifeline" (most revives/stabilizations), or "Guardian" (most damage absorbed near teammates).

Why It Helps the Game

  • Encourages Synergy: Forces teams to coordinate rescue efforts by deploying smoke, providing cover fire, and communicating during a drag-and-revive.
  • Redefines the Scoreboard: Shakes up the solo-run meta by highlighting and rewarding the unsung heroes who secure the win through support play.
  • Shifts the Culture: Alleviates the toxic focus on final kill screens, reminding the community that victories and losses are shared by the entire team regardless of individual stats.
