Had to bail and left a bunch of gear, can someone help me recover it?

Recently picked up the AF-S II version of the 300mm f2.8 and was wondering if this is a normal sound for the focus motor and I’m just over thinking it. I tested it besides the first AF-S version and just found it to be a lot louder.
