DIY Household Repair Toolkit Recommendations

I am looking for advice for household repair toolkits (in the U.S/ Preferable available in HI).

The idea is to repair the jalousie windows (Linkage Arms and cranks are entirely loose/non functional) and replace the wheels of the bug screen door for our appartment.
I would like to attempt to fix it myself before going through a back and forth with the landlord as I from what I looked up it seems quite straight forward to fix. We signed the rental lease agreement two weeks ago but I can tell that it is not considered a high priority for the landlord to fix. I am hoping that a positive attitude, the right tools and well the internet will get us somewhere.

I previously had the luxury of having a very handy dad who works in construction and has all the tools needed to come to this DIY admirer’s rescue. Sadly, we are now at least two oceans apart, so it is time to step up.

I am currently browsing around for an overall household tool repair kit and whereever I look on Amazon/Lowes/Home Depot etc. I see a lot of bad reviews on household toolkits (though I tend to review the one stars first, so my judgement is likely flawed). I rather start of right so I would like to hear your advice for household repair kits you swear by or in general recommended to buy the required tools seperately. That said I foresee other repairs being needed so hence I thought an overall toolkit would be a blessing to have.

The estimated max budget for the tools is $100-150.

My apologies if this post is not allowed here, but your advice would be greatly appreciated!
