Hey, so this isn't a traditional kvass? I'm using wheat bread instead and I also added apples. And I'm trying to ferment it for 7 days but on day 2 this thing on the bread appeared. I'm assuming it's a yeast colony but wanted to hear from other people just to be sure.

Could someone please tell what this is or at least if this is still safe to drink? It's on the 3rd day of 7 and it's starting to look a little scary idk if that's mold or something else...... Plz help idk what I'm doing
