Should be picking up my 911 tomorrow. I’ll be paying cash. Question for the community.

- what dealership add-ons or packages are worth getting? How much should I expect the cost to be for these?

- any other monetary items (e.g., fees) I should expect from the dealer?

- any questions I should ask the dealer?

This will be I’m first 911. Experience at the dealership has been ok so far. I know by paying cash, they won’t be getting much from me. Just want to be prepared in case they surprise me with costly things I haven’t considered yet.

Hi, hoping to restart this topic. I got the “preparation for Porsche dashcam” but want to use aftermarket dash cam, since I hear that Porsche dashcam isn't really good. I don't have the car yet, as it's getting delivered (hoping by end of this month), so don't know what rearview mirror area looks like with this "preparation." I have a few questions.

Does the "preparation" add bulk to the rearview mirror area that would make aftermarket dashcam harder to install? I've seen videos of aftermarket install and I can't tell if the car has the "preparation." Or is the "preparation" supposed to make aftermarket install just as easy as the Porsche dashcam install?

Is there an aftermarket dashcam that would fit the preparation well?

I'm open to dashcams that turn off when the car is off, or remains on when the car is parked. Open to the community's recommendation on which one to get (the one that turns off or remains on).
