Saw this Viola Metallic Turbo S in Manhattan today!

I think this color is absolutely gorgeous! Prior to this I had only seen photos of this color online, but it was amazing to see in person. I had to point out to a friend that it wasn’t black. Once I pointed it out he was also enamored. Such a cool spec!

2024 Carerra S Thoughts

I came across at a dealer a 2024 Carerra S that is a manual. Without going into all the details, well optioned, grey/black, 5,000 miles, $153K msrp. Dealer wants $180k. 2 owners, I would be the third. CarFax clean but a weird anomaly, last oil change at Valvoline fast oil change. Thoughts on asking price given above? Thanks.

Rimowa Luggage in 992?

Looking to buy some luggage for trips. I have a Classic Carry-On from Rimowa, but i wonder if a checked luggage will fit. Looking at the Trunk S, Trunk, and Check In-M.

Links are below. I am having my first 992.2 4 GTS shipped to me in about a month's time, but I have a trip to take in a week and need a checked bag. I didnt find any photos of aluminum rimowa trunks or checked luggage bags, hence why I am asking.

Thank you in advance!

Check In - M

Rimowa Trunk - Regular

New to me 991.2 C4S

My first Porsche - kind of an unplanned purchase but couldn't pass on the Graphite blue metallic exterior when I saw it in person. Loving the cream and blue leather interior.

Drives beautifully at 75k miles, just swapping those Pirelli pzero's for Michelin pilots and planning a major service.

911 Drivers in London area?

Any 911 owners up for a countryside drive from London?

Looking to connect with a few Porsche owners who fancy taking their 911s out for a proper weekend cruise outside London, enjoying some good roads and a bit of spirited driving where appropriate.

I’m especially keen to meet any GT3, RS or Turbo owners who may be thinking about upgrading in future, as I am considering my next move and would be great to see a few cars in person.

Nothing reckless, just a good group, decent roads, coffee and cars. Drop me a message if interested.

PFA in Chinatown - I don’t have a GT3RS haha, just a Carrera S!

Carbon fiber center console trim ring removal… how?!

There’s seemingly no way to get the center console trim ring out. I’ve watched all the videos with folks using a trim tool to remove the black or silver trim. The CF won’t budge.

Trying to install a charger or anything in the coin tray but non starter until I can sort out removing the trim.

Any guidance?

pics for attention

What bumpers are on these two 992.1 C4S’s?

Both 2024 C4S’s apparently, but I can’t seem to replicate the bumpers via the different packages. I know it’s a me issue, but would appreciate any help I can get!

Porsche analysis-paralysis. Am I broken?

Im a Porsche and car addict and unfortunately no one around me is so its hard to discuss the desire but stress in deciding to change cars when taking into account a "new driving experience", appreciation/depreciation, getting the best spec for the money.

so backstory, I have a Miami blue BGTS 4.0 PDK which I have loved having but always looking at other cars. To me this meant this is not a forever car. I decided im going to back to manuals and wanted a newer generation from the interior perspective (surround view is one of those options I would actually filter cars out by) so it left 992.1 onwards. then the obvious creep of well its not NA or it doesn't have LWBS or FAL so it will be harder to sell or may not get as much money back in 2 years.. all this led to even more analysis-paralysis.

recently I was able to find a 2024 Carrera T coupe 7sp. some sport design fascia in front/sides, burmester (which Ive always wanted), LCA/surround view (for peace of mind). added bonus is full PPF and low miles. pretty much meets all the criteria for the gentlemanly T spec. I don't ever go to the track.

all looks good, I try to trade in my BGTS +63K for the T and the fear/paranoia comes back. like is this a good deal? will I regret the NA 4L? will the Miami blue appreciate and I will has lost appreciation will the T depreciates? I think I need a therapist lol.

Risks of technician Training cars

Looking into buying a 400 mile 911 CPO etc. It was used by the porsche training center for techs is my understanding - not a lap car etc. With a slight discount, is this something to stay away from or with CPO, low mileage, and the right price is the training history something that can be overlooked or not a concern. Car still has an auction history on carfax at 400 miles.
