I bought my 992.1 C2 in late 2021 and picked Night Blue Metallic. Shortly after, the color was discontinued and became PTS only. Till date, I have never come across another NBM 992. Feels good. 😀

I did an early trade in on my 992.1 poverty spec base for an allocation in T. Never driven a T until today when dealer called me saying they had one I could test. I drove it, was slightly underwhelmed with the power. My 922.1 base felt as if it had more power. Then add in the PDK was also quicker. Turned TC and AC off, and it felt more like it should’ve and on the same level as 992.1 base.
Then drove the 992.2 S. That thing is perfectly rowdy.
I can also spec an S when the allocation comes.
I truly feel like the T with a tune would be 👌👌👌.
Anyone been torn between the two? Would appreciate some input.
Obviously a good problem to have but planned on my next 911 being my long term car.

Hi! I inherited my husbands pride and joy 911 after he sadly passed away too soon. He was very particular about the car of course and I want to do right by it. He has a ton of cleaning products and I want to wash it. Any tips? T hi bags to avoid? I’m pretty sure it has a ceramic paint coating so anything I should not do?? The inside is pretty clean and I think I can just wipe it down with the leather cleaner. Tia!

They suggested I get a highly optioned S instead, but my equivalent S is roughly the same price anyway.

9 years ago I sold my ‘09 C2S 6MT due to the loss of an extra parking stall at my condo. Decided to scratch that 911 sized itch thats been lingering under the surface. A ‘14 C4S 7MT was just loaded up today on its way!
I debated another 997.2 vs the 991.1. In the end it’s going to be driven daily, rain, shine or snow and the 991 just felt like it would make a better commuter. In the end for me NA with 3 pedals I didn’t think I could go wrong either way.
Would an OEM GTS PSE exhaust (center and side mufflers + tips) directly fit onto a 991.1 Base car? Is the 3.8L GTS side muffler flange compatible with the 3.4L Base header/cat flange? I'm hoping to swap my Base exhaust for the GTS PSE (not too concerned about the wiring/vacuum tubing at this point).

If not I have a 1999 911 porche and I wanted to bring the convertible down manually since the hydraulics don’t work anymore but the latch at the back doesn’t close it’s just stuck open. What can I do to close it manually? Any help is appreciated
Bought a 2021 C4S last August, and just had the aerokit spoiler installed by a local euro tuner shop. I was not able to locate a 992.1 with the aero already installed, so I needed to add it after the fact. The spoiler is OEM, bought it from
Suncoast. I now need to get the warning lights regarding the spoiler and brake light updated/removed, the tuner shop cannot due this. To anyone that’s had an aerokit (or any fixed spoiler for that matter) installed after the fact, how did you clear this error? I haven’t checked with my local dealer as they declined to install the spoiler to begin with, just wondering on people’s luck here - I’ll call the dealer when I’m back from traveling as well. TIA
