My purple death is coming along.
First time growing Purple Death peppers!
What’s your favorite way to use them? Sauces, cooking, drying, powder, etc.? Looking for ideas, especially ones that work well with their flavor and heat level.

The Diver Air is definitely one of the more interesting releases from UN lately. What does everyone think? Love it, hate it, or somewhere in between?
Took the Maxi Marine on my fishing trip. Didn’t disappoint.
Finally added another Ulysse Nardin to the collection. I’ve always liked that they do things a little differently, and the Dual Time is a good example. The push-button local hour adjustment is dead simple to use, and honestly one of the better travel complications out there. The silver dial is way more interesting in person too. Depending on the light it reads bright white, silver, or almost champagne, and the applied markers really pop. In-house movement, silicon tech, a complication I’ll actually use, and finishing that holds up close. Still feels underrated to me. Happy to have it on the wrist next to my Maxi Marine Diver. Looking forward to putting some real time on it.
I’ve been going down the Ulysse Nardin rabbit hole lately, and I keep coming back to the Ludwig Perpetual. Everyone talks about the Freak, but I don’t think this watch gets nearly enough credit. The fact that Ludwig Oechslin designed a perpetual calendar that can be adjusted both forward and backward.
Am I the only one who thinks this is one of the most underrated UNs ever made? It’s definitely on my list of watches I’d love to add to the collection.
Great write up from Hodinkee here: https://www.hodinkee.com/api/v1/articles/4601.html?utm\_source=hodinkee&utm\_medium=iOS
Longines in its natural habitat, at least for me. Took this from the saddle before a ride. I love how versatile this watch is. It feels just as right at the barn as it does dressed up.
Every Ulysse Nardin has a story.
What was your first UN?
What made you choose the brand over Rolex, Omega, Blancpain, or another option?
And if you don’t own one yet, which model is your grail?
Photos are always welcome!
Hello everyone! I recently became the moderator of r/UlysseNardin and wanted to introduce myself.
I’m a longtime watch enthusiast and recently added this Maxi Marine Diver to my collection. It has quickly become one of my favorite watches to wear, especially around the water.
My goal for this community is simple: make it the best place on Reddit to discuss Ulysse Nardin. Whether you own a Freak, Marine, Diver, Dual Time, Classico, or you’re just curious about the brand, everyone is welcome.
Looking forward to seeing your watches, hearing your stories, and building something great together.
Traveling through Ohio this week visiting friends and family, so naturally I had to bring a few watches along. This has been the rotation. The Tudor Pepsi GMT is the newest addition and made the trip even more memorable since I bought it from a friend while I was here. The Grand Seiko SBGE313 is still one of my favorite GMTs with the purple grid dial and Spring Drive movement. And after years of wanting a Ulysse Nardin, I finally picked up the Maxi Marine Diver 263-33-3C/82 just before this trip. It’s been hard to take off my wrist. Three completely different watches, each with its own personality, but they’ve made for a fun travel collection. Which one would you be wearing the most?
Finally got my first Ulysse Nardin. I’ve wanted one since I got into watches, but never pulled the trigger. After Grand Seikos, vintage pieces, Seiko divers, and my Speedy Schumacher, this freshly serviced Maxi Marine Diver 263-33-3C/82 felt like the one. The black wave dial, insane lume, and UN rubber strap/clasp combo are unreal. Proper watch nerd diver.
Price is 10.2K Brucherer. Seems like great price for box and papers right? If my wife wasn’t with me I might have pulled the trigger.
SOTC as it stands. Speedy Schumacher is my usual daily. The Tudor 41mm is the sentimental one. My wife gave it to me as a wedding gift, so it’s a special one for me.
A couple of Grand Seiko GMTs are what first got me hooked on the complication.
But the newest addition is the Grand Seiko SBGE313 and I’m completely smitten. The Spring Drive GMT sweep plus that dial is exactly my thing. I’ve realized that I kind of want to collect GMTs now.
In love with the SBGE313. Was choosing between this and an Explorer II, and I just had to add another GS to the collection.
