34. Male. 160. Non Smoker. No medicines. My friend has been in the hospital for 1 month. They say he doesn't have long. But keeps going up and down. I want to go see him but I have a baby at home and am not sure if it is contagious 1 month in?

I went to Eastern Idaho for a job interview. Everything was beautiful. The pay is amazing. The area is amazing. Everything is amazing. He asked me what I did for hobbies and I mentioned I was a freemason. Now he started spitting what I like to call, utter crap. 33 degree conspiracy stuff. And something about scottish rite. I am currently a mason in the south. Where I am, there are people like that but they're few and far between. This is causing me to reconsider taking this opportunity. I just wanted to know if you all have ran into scenarios like this. I still got a job offer btw.
