Organizing/pressure tactics at a remote workplace

Hey everyone! My workplace is currently renegotiating our second contract and it’s been rough to say the least. We are an environmental nonprofit (shout out to our parent union, NPEU) and the majority of our bargaining unit are remote workers so it’s been difficult trying to brainstorm pressure tactics when everyone is so disconnected.

Our main tactics have been open letters, having BU members give testimony during bargaining sessions, and changing our slack/zoom images to graphics with some related slogan so the issue appears in both internal and external meetings.

We are trying to build a social media presence as part of our larger pressure campaign, but that also takes time and a certain level of social media experience which we’re actually working on.

So my question is for those organizing remote workplaces, how do y’all put pressure on management and build solidarity within your workplaces?
