Here is the second of my two newly completed King & Country figure dioramas. This one being a Battle of Normandy display.

For this one, I wanted a classic bocage country road aesthetic. I had Sheffield Miniatures do a custom mat featuring a dirt track flanked by shorter summer grass. To build up the hedgerow, I scratch-built the foliage using seafoam armatures, sealed with a PVA wash, and flocked with Green Stuff World leaf litter and bush materials to give it a dense, realistic canopy.

The figures and the Sherman fit perfectly into the scale of the lane. I paired it with a printed sky/field backdrop made with AI and added a custom engraved gold plaque in the corner to frame the scene.

A diorama I've just put together using pre-assembled King & Country 1/30 scale figures, depicting Col. H. Jones' charge at Goose Green during the Falklands War of 1982. I used AI to create the backdrop and then worked with Sheffield Miniatures to get a custom Falklands-style mat with specifically long grass to hide the figures' bases, which really helps the scene look more natural. As a final touch, I added the nameplate for display. Please enjoy, and my thanks!
