I’m currently building out a new sponsored listings section for Hook, my web extension and website, designed to give Minecraft server owners an additional way to put their communities in front of an active audience.

Before opening sponsored placements to paid subscriptions, I’d like to establish a strong foundation of server partners. For a limited developmental period, I’m offering complimentary promotion to Hook’s entire userbase, with no subscription or commitment required.

One important thing however is the system is still actively being developed, so the presentation and placement of listings may change as I refine it. Your server, however, will remain part of the initial sponsor base.

I’m particularly interested in building this alongside server owners rather than simply filling a directory, so early participants will have an opportunity to help shape how the platform develops. So if promoting your Minecraft server for free is something you want to do feel free to submit an application in the Google Form.

I’ve had this sitting around for a while, but I figured other people might find it useful too.

It’s basically a Chrome extension that lets you save voting profiles for different servers, including the vote links and your Minecraft username. Once it’s saved, you can just open the extension, click your profile, and it will walk you through the voting process for each site one by one.

It also has a manual fallback for websites that block the automatic flow, so if one site doesn’t allow it, you can still vote manually without losing progress.
