What’s something about NALSAR that surprised you after joining?

For people who’ve actually spent time at NALSAR, what’s one thing you completely misjudged before joining? Could be how hectic a normal week gets, how people are on campus, hostel life, or even something small that nobody tells freshers about.

How do you know when you’re actually ready for the GRE?

I’ve reached the point where I’m doing practice questions, reviewing mistakes, revising vocab and then doing it all over again. I know consistency matters, but it’s starting to feel like I’m putting in hours without knowing whether I’m actually improving.

For people who prepared seriously for the GRE, what helped you get out of this phase and actually see your scores move?

What are you guys doing about the questions you keep getting wrong?

I’ve noticed that I can get a question wrong, understand the explanation, and then somehow make the exact same mistake a few days later 😭. I’m thinking of keeping an error log, but I’m not sure how useful it actually is in the long run. Do you guys write down every mistake or only the ones you keep repeating?

When did CLAT prep stop feeling "manageable" for you?

I started preparing thinking I'd just stay consistent for a few months and things would fall into place. But somewhere along the way, the syllabus, mocks, current affairs, and the pressure of keeping up with everyone else started piling up.

Was there a moment when CLAT prep suddenly felt much harder than you expected? What changed, and how did you deal with it?

Did anyone else score way lower on their first GRE mock than they expected?

I finally took my first full-length GRE mock after weeks of studying, and the score honestly caught me off guard. I thought I was making decent progress, but seeing the actual result was pretty discouraging.

If you've been through this, did your mock scores improve over time? What changed the most for you?

Does anyone else feel like they forget old topics while studying new ones?

I've noticed that every time I finish a new subject, I start feeling less confident about the ones I studied a few weeks ago. It almost feels like I'm moving forward and backward at the same time.

How are you all balancing revision with covering the syllabus? Do you have a fixed revision routine, or do you just revise whenever you get time?

What's one piece of GRE advice you wish someone had told you before you started preparing?

There are so many study plans, books, YouTube channels, and prep strategies that it's easy to feel overwhelmed before even getting started.

If you could go back to Day 1 of your GRE prep, what's the one thing you'd do differently or the one tip you'd give yourself?

What was the moment you realised judiciary preparation is a completely different game from law school?

I'm a few months into preparing and one thing has really surprised me. Scoring well in law school and preparing for judiciary don't feel connected as much as I expected.

The amount of revision, bare act reading, remembering tiny provisions, and writing answers under time pressure is a whole different challenge.

For those who have been preparing longer or have already appeared for exams, what was the biggest reality check for you? Was it prelims, mains, interview preparation, or simply staying consistent for months?

If you had to restart your CLAT preparation today, what would you do differently?

Imagine you're starting from day one again with everything you know now. How would you plan your preparation? Which resources would you pick, how many mocks would you attempt, and what would you avoid?

What changed in your preparation when your mock scores finally improved?

For those who saw a noticeable jump in their scores, what actually changed? Was it your revision strategy, answer writing, bare act reading, or something else? Looking for personal experiences that could help other aspirants.

If CAT prep had levels, which one are you currently stuck on?

Some people are still full of enthusiasm, some are getting humbled by mocks, and some are just trying to stay consistent enough to revise. Wherever you are in the journey, be honest. Which phase are you in right now, and what's been the toughest part of getting through it?
