FREE 240sx update

Soo previously I had a misfire on cylinder 2 but I was able to fix it by replacing the injector. Now it idles steadily but reads the air fuel ratio at 9 (I’m assuming because of the botched half-assed wiring of a mess it was) so I’m replacing the MAF connector with a new one to be safe. Other than that what do you guys feel I need to check on? (The rattling is also from my hood and the engine is currently not bolted on as of now just sitting on the mounts.)

(Previously done: head gasket, new valve stem seals, new valves (also re-lapped the valve seats), new springs and lifters etc.

Other info: currently has no IACV and EGR due to previous owner deleting the turbo (he plated snd welded all the parts needed to be blocked off) Also has ISR gas pressure gauge. And the exhaust muffler snapped off so it sounds like that idk. Also the MAF sensor is an aftermarket replacement so I’m not sure if si need to get it tuned. (My other option is to install the original MAF Sensor that it came with but the downside is that the screen that it connects the plug to the body of the MAF sensor is stripped and broken so it’s held by one screw)

When I install the new connector my plan is to let it run for 20 minutes and see if the ECU just needs to re-learn due to it running with a misfire for a while. (Maybe running rich because of the new injector in Cylinder 2)

Free 240sx update

Tomorrow I’ll be cutting this along with the whole entire driver side frame rail and welding on a different one from a donor car 😭

Update: The free 240sx has been revived after blowing a nasty head gasket… so far I thought it was knocking at first but the whole f**king exhaust had no rubber mounts and slapping the whole frame. (Plus two big exhaust leaks on the muffler from dragging the whole time). Currently next objective is to find a stock 240sx bumpers (preferably the pig nose) and redo the vacuum lines for the pcv, valve cover breather, and etc.
