Was gonna do ap1 or tsx projectors for a period correct look..but sometimes ya just gotta go with the best. Morimoto d2s 5.0 with Denso ballasts and Hella 5000k. That purple cutoff 😋 I think the FX-R or the like would have been a sweet setup too, maybe try that sometime...

These were surprisingly easy, though I do build retrofits for other nissans as a side job/hobby so it wasn't unfamiliar but I did expect a little resistance. Nope. Hope the projector heat doesn't melt the reflector trim, will prolly go back and add washers to center them against the trim while aimed. As it stands, the adjusters are aimed high enough up that the projector tilted up a little vertically in the trim. So I'll go back, I want those cool little built-in levellers to actually show an even keel 😂😂 also, I think plastic lenses will be best to not distort the beam and cutoff any further. Gonna think that one over cause the oem glass looks really nice.

I'd be willing to design and manufacture (whether ADOPT or Vibra-Technics) an engine mount swap kit for the VQ swap on S13/S14s.

I don't have immediate access to any swapped Silvias in my area. If someone can get me the correct dimensions, I'll see what I can do for swap kit engine mounts.

So i have a question since i have a Sil80/ sil40 if u wanna get technical which is s13 coupe front on hatchback, for full bodykits can i get a full s13 coupe bodykit as in the rear bumper of a coupe can fit on a hatch? or would the mis matched fronts be an issue with side skirts? would i have to buy a the side skirts, bumpers separately?

The past couple weeks consisted of me pulling the old single cam engine and auto trans out. Then getting a new windshield. A few days after that I picked up donor car then cut out the core support and swapped out the hatch because mine was rusted out I also did some trading and scored a pair of oem fenders and some 240z wheels off market place and now I’m just waiting on parts for my swap and for the weather to clear up enough so I can get back to cleaning out the rest of the engine bay

I’m thinking about buying a Nissan s14. The owner told me that the engine is an RB25DET. Is that true? I would also like to know roughly how much is in this conditions

Speedometer went out. I hear it’s a common issue and don’t really want to replace the entire cluster just for the speedometer (verified mileage). Anyone replace the stepper motor for the speedometer on this, or any stepper motor for that matter? Any other vehicles to cross reference for identical stepper motors?

I'm changing my timing chain and I'm following a guide. Nobody else's needle is bent like mine. I just want to make sure that this is top dead center And it looks right and is it supposed to be bent like this?

Cars in limp mode it’s a CA18DET JDM import. I’ve changed the MAF out which temporarily fixed it until I took it for a test drive a couple days later.

Took me 2 years to put this front end together. So many little details that you don't think about until they show up, and still a few left to address, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Now I simply need a full respray, an interior overhaul, and new wheels 👍🏻

Have to rebuild my transmission after my last clutch blew up on me, going to be doing a mazworx srvq swap, and need to covert from s15 to s14 clutch setup, can anyone confirm this is a good quality genuine clutch made for the s14(jdm 2L, not usdm 2.4L) setup? I know a lot of the “s14” clutch sets claim s14 but are actually for the 2.4 and not the 2, just want confirmation really, thank you

Clean title 1990 with 150k miles. Owned by a single owner since 1990 and spent its life in Missouri before making to my state a few years ago. Since arriving in my state it seems like its only done 500 miles or so.

Pretty much everything stock and it runs and drives great (knock on wood).

Feel like I got pretty lucky, but really didn't do a huge amount of research, just found it at a local auction and pulled the trigger.

edit: Price was $6350, a bit over $7k after tax and fees

So happy how this came out busy weekends and long nights after work. Still need wheels and to be lower though.
