This was on the wall at Crystal JP, a car parts shop in Chiba-shi, Japan.

My 13th or 14th time seeing them… although I do miss the giant alien-thing from a few tours back.

Picked these up last year while transiting via TSA (Taipei Songshan).

Saw it running this morning and I’ve seen continuous trains for the last hour or so.

Exciting.

Looks like it will impact Taiwan end of this upcoming week around 7/10, but more importantly the size of the storm will cause issues much earlier than potential landfall. This is equivalent to a Category 5 hurricane and it hasn’t even hit Guam yet.

This is on top of all the flooding from just 2 weeks ago, and that was caused by the same track path of a typhoon that pulled a ton of moisture from the southwest of Taiwan.

Stay safe and give yourself flexibility if you’re visiting Taiwan middle of July.
