Trying to find RAF 1/48 P-47 Thunderbolt decals

I am trying to purchase RAF 1/48 P-47 Thunderbolt decals and can't find them for sale at all - does anyone know a place that ships to/is in the USA or have some that you would be able to sell to me? This is my second model plane (I am kind of hooked lol), and I already have it fully painted in the RAF camo colors so I don't think there is really an alternative air force version I can do. Otherwise, do you know someone who prints good custom decal sheets, or is there an alternate country's scheme I could decal instead of the RAF one without having to do much more painting? I attached a picture of the RAF plane I am trying to recreate, along with an example picture of an OOS decal sheet listing which would have worked. Thank you for your help - I really appreciate it!

P51 b mustang 1/32 scale

I finally decided to share this finished model, I try to make a polished metal finish, very reflective.

I really try to improve with this one, and honestly im very proud of the final result, I hope you guys like it as I am, one of my favorites kits I ever made

Fresh batch of 1/144 WWI aircraft coming off the production line

Another batch of Death Spiral aircraft fresh out of the resin wash and coming off the build plates.
It’s pretty satisfying watching these go from digital models to actual 1/144 game pieces. These will be cleaned up, cured, and then it’s off to the paint table.
The Death Spiral air forces keep growing.

First look at the newest Death Spiral production models

A couple of the newest Death Spiral production models getting some paint.
I think we’re finally hitting the balance I wanted—WWI aircraft that still look the part at 1/144, but are tough enough to actually game with.
How are these looking?

Finally done!

Took long enough! But I learned a few things and made more than a few mistakes.

But next one on the bench will surely benefit from the lessons.

Scratch detail in the cockpit, engine, bazookas and airbrushed insignia.

Feeling good about it.

My First Model Plane!

I recently started a collection of model planes and what better way to start than with one straight from KRISSHOP. This is 9V-SKZ at a 1:400 scale. I also purchased the SQ x Paddington Bear luggage tag and a pack of travel sprays but I can only include one photo.

It’s a really detailed diecast model, however I do wish the base was a little bit sturdier as plastic feels a bit too flimsy for my liking, nonetheless, it’s a start and I will hopefully be purchasing a QR A380 from their Travel Boutique in Doha later this year.

Has anyone built this vintage Avenger?

Just looking for tips and what to expect. It's got its fair share of moving parts.

Where is the best place to buy Herpa 1:500 models?

Hi, a friend and I have started a scale model project; we’ve already laid down the tarmac and grass, and now we’d like to buy the gates—and a few model planes would be nice too. However, since we’re working at a 1:500 scale and mostly buying Herpa products, this could turn into an expensive hobby. I was wondering where the best place is to get these items. I look forward to hearing your suggestions!

I got this 1:18 TBF Avenger for $35

Also I'll mention I gave them $40 and they gave me $20 back for some reason. He also had multiple in his vehicle. Insanely good deal but also what?

Missing Piece Revell SR 71A Blackbird

Revell’s missing piece request page won’t work and they haven’t responded to my email so I’m posting this to see if anyone has this missing piece. It’s the tail cone of the plane and I have looked everywhere. It’s the SR 71A Blackbird (#04967). If anyone has one or sees one on eBay please please let me know!

Spitfire wip.

Some damage control on a few oopsies. But all good lessons learned. Time for weathering.

Lessons:
Brown too dark
Poor quality white paint sucked
Masking and too thin paint made a mess of the underside
Didn’t test fit cockpit on both halves of fuselage

Best way to make canopy fit?

I'm working on the Tamiya 1:72 P-47, and I've found the two canopy pieces don't quite fit together. Aside from sanding down one or both of the canopy pieces, do I have any good options to get them to fit?

Assuming I go the sanding route, where do you think I should remove material? I feel like off the back of the larger piece is my better bet, because the canopy framing is thicker back there. I worry that if I sand away where the canopy pieces join, I'll end up having too thin of framing.

Cardboard plane for my toddler

Inspiration struck me during his nap, so in about 45 minutes I threw this monstrosity together

Honestly, though, considering it was freehand with zero planning, I'm pretty satisfied with everything besides the cockpit

Also, I hope this is allowed here, r/aviation understandably rejected it
