Hi all! Freshly from the workbench is the A-7e based on the classic Hasegawa kit. I updated the kit with a variety of upgrades including reskit seated pilot, exhaust nozzle and wheels, Aires wheel bays and Eduard missiles and bombs. Decals are from Procal. I kitbashed the nose gear from the hobbyboss kit and also added some scratch build piping and cables on the gear .

I've built the model to represent Decoy 401 from the USS John F Kennedy, participating in Operation Desert Storm in 91'. Paint is from AK, Tamiya and Vallejo, and weathering with artist oils.

I think it came out pretty well and is a very nice compliment to the rest of my collection. Thanks for looking. Comments and questions are welcome.

Hi all! Also hot off the bench is this 1/48 Lim-5p based on the hobbyboss mig-17pfu. The model is converted using Coldwar Studios nose correction. I also added resin wheels and brass turned air data probes from Master. I upgraded the cockpit using an Aires mig-17pf cockpit set. The kit includes a well detailed vk1 engine , but it disappears once the tail is attached. In order to allow a limited view of the engine, I opened some panels above and below the airplane midsection. Decals are from my scrap box and paint is from Tamiya and Vallejo . This was a fun little build and helped get my modelling mojo up for the fall. As usual, questions and comments are welcome.

I was recently given about 20 of these old Balsa wood model planes at random. This is a foreign hobby to me, so I don’t know anything about these nor know what to do with them. I plan on maybe keeping one or two, but these don’t really call to me as a hobby.

Can anyone tell me roughly how old they are? The boxes say they’re reproductions from the 30s-40s, but don’t give a manufactured date

Are they collectors items? They seem to be in decent shape overall if so

I’d like to get these off my hands without throwing them away

So, I am back again after a lot of hard work and lessons learned, and mistakes made😅
This is my Su-27 SM from Zvezda.

I dont know if I am the problem but the instructions were shit and I felt they torn apart every subassembly into million pieces.
At one point I lost my patience and I was just waiting to finish it and build something else.

Since its my second kit any tips and tricks, any feedback, improvements i could make, anything, I love constructive feedback so dont worry.

Hi guys I'm a 14 year old collector I have a model airport and all my other planes are just on their own

Just got my first ever model plane and I’m stoked! I bough this a week ago from one of you guys and it looks amazing!

I was browsing this sub and saw someone posting a pile of boxes to sell them. This AF cargo 777 caught my attention and I knew I had to get it. The 777 is my favourite wide body jet and I‘m a huge fan of freighters.

This particular piece is even more interesting as it seems to have been made for the launch of the 777F, Air France KLM Cargo being its launch customer.

It’s a superb 1/200 model from Hogan with amazing quality and I love the wooden stand it came with.

Unfortunately, the glue did not age well (the model is from 2008) and did not survive the delivery (thanks DHL 🫠). Nothing a bit of superglue can’t fix thankfully.

Anyways I’m super happy with it. Hope you guys like it :)
