Rafale C Normandie-Niémen - Revell 1/48
The sexiest plane ever in a special scheme for the 75 years of Normandie Niémen's comeback from Russia !
Very happy with the outcome, especially how did I broke down the grey's uniformity

They are kind of hard to see, but I left this model with rubber tires sit in the same place for about a week and a half, and when I moved it I saw these splotches
I'm looking for an occupation for my brother so he doesn't scroll all day on his phone so I figured I'd buy an ariplane model he can build and construct but I can't seem to find any online. Does anyone know if they still make them like this? Here is the reference from the Stardust video: https://youtu.be/FQlAEiCb8m0?si=g3QIevYYtLFUBziF
Now I have an unresistable urge to collect more, HELP!
I won this very large model plane about 20-25 years ago via an auction. I think it's a Nieuport 28, but not sure. It's about 6 feet wide and 5 feet long. PS: I'll need to find a new home for it, per my spouse.
TBH very unfriendly model kit,but purchased few years ago and wanted to give it a go.This is the result, quite satisfied but could be better in some minor things…
Selling my collection, I have pretty much everything shoot me a DM if you are looking for something or interested!
This outfit in Chelmsford, UK lists pre-orders that they never deliver. Tons of listings on eBay too, if you pre-order they’ll ask you to wait until the eBay protections of purchase are gone, then they’ll just ghost you. A friend had the same experience on a model that was easily available, but he was told to wait for delivery then was ghosted. Buyers don’t make the same mistake I made.
Okay so i messaged the seller if this is actually a sample (IGNORE THE -132 ITS A 273) and they said “hi there, this was given to my dad from the aeroclassics owner and he had it documented that there were around 5 or maybe less produced) idk guys what do you think? And also N470EV was only in the supertanker version that i saw online and nowhere to be found in the standard livery
Came across this lot of planes. Anyone able to tell valuable ones? Looking to get rid of them
I’m currently building a 1/48 F4U by Tamiya. And I’m indecisive about what position to build the wings in and would like it to be movable. Has anyone attempted this and has any advice they are willing to share? I think I have the hinge sorted other than some fine tuning. I’m just trying to figure out how to support it while it’s in the unfolded position. Thank you
Compared to the old, soft-detailed Trumpeter kit, this new tool is an absolute game-changer with incredibly crisp panel lines and spot-on proportions. However, the engineering tolerances are tight, so dry-fitting is a must, and those tiny antennae require a delicate touch. If you're tackling the classic soft-edge camouflage, I highly recommend using a fine-needle airbrush setup to avoid flooding the micro-scale details. It takes some patience, but it’s easily the best 1/144 Fullback on the market right now—highly recommended for micro-scale builders!
There is some authentic aircraft skin in there , Im currently working on a Lufthansa shelf
Okay so this is an inflight 200 TWA Convair 880, tail number is N812TW, i got it from an auction on ebay for about 300$ and the seller claimed it was “6 in the world” and i dont know if this is true. Its not the standard TWA, but actually just an all grey body, with the tail left white. It also came in a plain white box with the same inflight padding that they use, with a note on the top left saying “SPECIAL TWA”
