I got BLR cse.But my end goal is to get into iim through cat.Studying mech in manipal helps me to get diversity points(core).The placement in manipal for mechanical last yr was better than eee and stuff.Is it better to choose mechanical over cse banglore as fees is also less and more exposure to consulting firms as backup

I have got 85XX rank in met exam.My primary aim is getting into ese or psu through gate and secondary is placement
I have these three options which is best
1.mech at mit manipal
2.cse at mit bengaluru
3.eee at mit manipal(if lucky )
