Is the shell and liner fitment supposed to be this way.

I bought a shell/cover on FB marketplace since someone gave me a liner a while back. I figured it will fit since it’s from the same era. It seems tight compared to my 80’s era m1 with ERDL cover.

First Luger

Bought my first Luger today. Have a feeling I overpaid but it was local to me. All other Lugers in my area I’ve seen range from 1600-2000+… so I thought 1300 was OK… it’s non matching plus finish isn’t good and has pitting. I tore it down and inside looks good. Just the surface pitting is the major thing.
