I'm not done cleaning/reorganizing, but this is the shelf I designed and built with some old wood. Everything in the design was a compromise with the usable wood I had available, maximum space for my helmets and equipment, and the lay out of the room. I still have stuff I need to sort out, organize, and clean when I can, but this is it, so far.
Was wondering if this Spanish model z is authentic or is it a replica,i know the outside paint is put on since the inside shell is the actual colour,im mainly concerned about the liner as it looks a little too nice,
I imagine these helmets are often passed of as german but I doubt someone would fake a Spanish helmet but wanted more options on it,thanks in advance
Hello guys, first of all sorry if my information is incorrect but im going of what the seller wrote. This is also my first post here! Im located in Slovenia and somebody is selling this helmet, all I know is that similar models were used during Desert Storm. He was asking 230€ for it but i managed to talk him down to 170€. I need some help because i started doubting whether the helmet is actually worth that given the condition and better helmets selling for less. Can anyone tell me more about it and tell me if its a good first helmet for my collection? Thank you in advance!
Well, I wanted to go and make a copy of a helmet paint job that I found here on reddit. And well, with my ww2 reenacting. I cant wait ro try to use it or show the helmet off.
I took the time learning how to hand paint and wanted to try it as something new.
And if the paint is fake and never used in the war. I still find it cool and might use for parades just for fun.
I used od3 paint and ak interactives Summer kurks earth for the extra 2 tones.
Im not sure how to tell if this is actually a Team Wendy helmet. It looks pretty good to me but Im not positive
Are there replica/fake cold war helmets out there? Just wondering if that's something to be on the lookout for. With the popularity of Airsoft the way it is, I didn't know if there is a market to reproduce SSH68s and the like.

Reminds me if a british shrapnel-helmet, but looks really, really old. Feels like aluminium but is farely heavy. The leather and filt looks old too. Hrlp?
I found this m1 helmet for sale and the liner has 88€ and other numbers stamped on it and I'm wondering if this has a use or was done post war, any information would be nice.
