Can’t see any markings

Bought this SSH-68 on eBay. I’ve never seen a camo pattern like this before (except for DCU). I immediately thought it was Iraqi since the desert looking paint job and the fact Iraq was given SSH-68’s. So I don’t know if it’s actually Iraqi or some repaint for a kids Halloween costume. I’ll take any help I can get to at least know what I have and how much it’s worth

So I just bought this hat for an airsoft Larp event and wanted to clean it. Is has some god old storage flair, and who knows who was in it. Any advice how to clean it without messing with it?

I've had this up on a shelf for a few years now, bought it from an estate sale. What exactly do I have? Any help is appreciated.
