Help! GCash keeps deducting money from my account. I never received any receipt, text alert, or OTP for these unauthorized transactions!
This happened on August 5, and today, same time, same amount. For the record, I don’t have any subscriptions except my Minecraft Realm, which renews on August 26 for only ₱173. I have no idea where these transactions came from! I never got any text message, no OTP was ever asked, and I didn’t buy or order anything at all. I already checked my gmail account, Google play store and other possible app that i used to purchase something but i havent received anyhing. I was just scrolling on my phone when I got another message saying a transaction was successful one I never even made?! They charged 798 for absolutely nothing.
I already reached out to gcash Help Center and filed an investigation request. They said they’ll review it and get back within 3 days, but I seriously doubt it.
