Hi! I tried paying via QR Ph using GCash, with my linked Maya Credit Card. The amount was ₱8,000, and it was already deducted from my available credit limit. However, the payment didn’t go through on GCash, and the merchant hasn’t received the payment either.

As of now, the transaction is still showing as pending. The screenshot says that if the transaction doesn’t go through, I’ll be refunded within 24 hours. However, since I used a credit card, I’m not sure how the refund process works.

Will the pending transaction automatically be canceled, and will the ₱8,000 be restored to my available credit limit? Or do I need to contact GCash or Maya to have it resolved?

Has anyone experienced this before, especially when using a linked credit card? I’m honestly a bit worried because ₱8,000 is a significant amount, and this is the first time this has happened to me. Huhu. 🥹

My mom encountered this error message while opening her gcash account. We have done already the checking in settings. And uninstalling the app and installing it again. Force stop the gcash, clear cache and clear data. Also power off and power on the device but still the same error message we encountered.

Anything else we can do? Pls help since my funds siya malaki huhuhu
