Hi guys! This cp is originally from my grandma who is dead and GCash is requesting a face request registration, something like that. Is there anything we can do? Sayang kasi, 4k pa naman un. It requires her face but she's passed away. What do we do?

I got scammed on August 4, 2026 through a Facebook Marketplace seller selling a Nintendo Switch 2. The seller video-called me and showed the item, claimed he needed urgent payment for medical bills, and said it would be delivered through Lalamove.

I sent ₱16,000 + ₱500 = ₱16,500 through a GCash Scan to Pay/P2M QR. The QR showed the merchant as JAN ADRIAN GONZALES, with Marikina as the merchant location, which did not match the Facebook seller.

About 10 minutes later, the seller blocked me. I contacted the actual Lalamove driver, who confirmed he had been waiting at the pickup location and had never received any item. I received absolutely nothing.

I reported it to GCash immediately, submitted screenshots, conversations, receipts, videos, and the Lalamove evidence. I also reported it to BancNet, Maya, CICC, and BSP.

The frustrating part is the conflicting responses:

• Aug 12 — GCash: refund declined because the transaction was supposedly valid and the goods/services were successfully fulfilled.
• Aug 14 — BancNet: told me they were still waiting for GCash's response.
• Aug 17 — GCash after BSP endorsement: said they couldn't retrieve the funds because I personally confirmed the Scan to Pay transaction.
• Aug 18 — Maya Regulatory Team: said the transaction originated from another financial institution and closed their BSP case.

The issue is that I authorized it because I was deceived, and no goods or services were ever delivered.

I now have a BSP complaint, CICC documentation, and all the evidence. I'm trying to understand what else I can do to recover the ₱16,500 and why GCash and Maya are giving seemingly conflicting information about where the transaction went and whether the dispute was actually processed.

If anyone has experienced something similar with a GCash P2M/Scan to Pay scam, especially one where the refund was initially denied, I'd really appreciate hearing what happened in your case and whether you were eventually able to recover the money.

I have all the evidence organized and can provide the relevant documents/screenshots if needed.

Few months ago after a long exchange thru email, napareactivate ko yung GCash account ko na nadeactivate kasi di ko napaverify dati. So it got reactivated then una kong ginawa is vinerify ko agad. Then boom it worked! Yehey! may GCash na ulit ako, yun yung ginagamit ko pambili ng laro from Steam.

Now, the problem. Just a few hours ago pumunta ako sa may tindahan dito sa amin para magpa cash in sana. Nung binigay ko na yung number ko biglang sabi sakin nung nagtitinda baka mali daw. Bruh. Kinonfirm namin, inulit ko sabihin yung number at tama naman. Pero pinakita nya sakin phone niya may nakalagay na either di daw verified yung account or di belong yung number sa GCash account. Bruh.

Mind you matagal nako dito nagpapacash in sa tindahan nato. Lahat ng previous transaction namin is successful naman. ^(So taena napabili nlng tuloy ng mrchips at chippy.) Then pagkauwi ko chineck ko agad phone ko na nakacharge. Opened the GCash app, ininput ko na yung pin ko. Something went wrong. something-something-troubleshoot. Bruh.

So next kong ginawa clinick ko yung Help. Sa mga FAQ ginawa ko mga steps under ng 'cannot log in'. Force close daw, delete daw cache, make sure na updated daw yung GCash. ^(Oh Android phone gamit ko btw) Then I tried to log in ganun pa din. Inulit ko. Ganun pa din. Bruh. Nakipag chat ako dun sa walang kwentang chatbot nila. Nung hiningi number ko, syempre binigay ko tas biglang nagrespond ng "I'm having trouble finding an account with that number. We're experiencing technical issues — please try again later." Bruhhh.

After multiple tries with Gigi, still no cigar. Seeing no other choice ginawa ko na yung isang step na pinaka ayaw ko kasi nakakatamad which is to uninstall and reinstall ulit yung app. After installation, nilagay ko number ko, then yung otp, i hit enter and-- New Account huh??? Yun lang yung nakalagay sa screen after kong ininput yung otp, no other options. BRUHH.

Ano to? Nyare sa account ko? Bat parang pinapagawa ulit ako ng account? Bat hinihingi ulit details ko? Full name, Email, Birthdate BRuuuuHHH. At that point binaba ko na phone ko kasi naiinis nako baka masira ko pa yung phone. Di ko muna tinuloy kasi di ko alam kung ano mangyayari e. May account nako tas nanghihingi ulit ng details???? BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH

Walang email and text notif man lng kung dineactivate ba nila or what. bulok tlga tong app nato hayys

UPDATE: Sorry for the late update guys kagabing 10pm ko lng nalaman yung hotline num. nila and other ways to contact them, idk if may makakabasa pa neto lmao.

After contacting their support thru internet call netong 12pm today Aug 18. Sabi sakin is mag create nlng daw ako ng New Account. Bruh. Tinanong nya kung nag Uninstall Reinstall daw ba ako kasi madedelete daw talaga account pag ganun. Bruh what??? anong klaseng system yun??? Mind you nasa troubleshooting guide nila yun, under ng cannot log in/something went wrong issues. Still hindi nun ineexplain kung bakit bigla nlng nawala account ko kasi I did the uninstalling/reinstalling AFTER not before all of this started.

So eto nag New Account nlng ulet ako. Used the same digital Nat ID and everything. Walang balance, I think dapat may 40 pa ako, now its showing 0 pero sabi sakin nung support is tawagan ko daw sila ulet if may nawalang balance para marecover.

Unverified ulet which is nagkakaproblema ako right now cause the app keeps crashing before I can finish the verification. I think this is because medyo may kalumaan natong phone na gamit ko. Yes, ginawa ko na rin yung troubleshooting like clearing the cache and such. Bruh.

I'm so done with this app. Gusto ko lng bumili ng games from Steam. I just dont know any other easy ways. I dont have paypal lmao.

Hello, I've been having an issue with my gcash account because when I tried to open my gcash account it would result in having it to say "Something went wrong: Learn how to troubleshoot" something like that. Ive read the article and followed it like force stopping the Gcash app, clearing cache and making sure it was in its latest version but it still wouldnt open. Also, when I tried to reset its MPIN, it would work at first and i'd get the OTP but when I entered the OTP there would be another pop up saying "Oops! Our system is currently busy right now" before it forces me to get another OTP code, but when I do it would say "Unable to send at this moment".

In the end, it pissed me off so I tried to make another gcash account and bought another SIM card but when my parents tried to verify my sim, their I'D works but when verifying their faces, it would say "Failed to verify" despite following what it requires us to do.

I would appreciate it if someone tries to answer my problem. Thank you.

I got my refund amount from @delhiwatchco in cashfree wallet, firstly your email quoted "We have processed your refund. Note that your bank may take 5-7 business days to process the refund to your account." this and then money deposited to my cashfree wallet.

Then I asked through mail that how can I withdrew money or access wallet then there were no replies then I raised ticket which didn't get any reply, then I raised ticket once again then they asked me to share payment details many times,

After that I contacted @delhiwatchco on instagram then they said it is clear on their side then I messageed to @gocashfree instagram then they asked some details and on third day which is today they said use Cashfree Pay Wallet can be used to make future payments through Cashfree, Then I asked give me platforms supporting cashfree wallet because I cannot able to use it on mainstream platforms which I use, then they are saying

"unfortunately, we're unable to provide a specific list of merchants where Cashfree Pay Wallet can be utilised" so what can I do ,As my money is almost blockd

My previous transactions were simply a steam game some grab rides and the most reason one was me sending 67 pesos twice to a friend, no i am not kidding.
