Food stuck

I had all my wisdom teeth removed last week and as recovery was going very well, I may have started eating solid foods a bit too fast. All has been going well until tonight , when both bottom teeth started to really hurt. I brushed extra, did some extra of the mouth washing thingy, but it was still super painful.

I decided to have a look again and I realised that there’s a huge amount of food debris around the teeth and in the holes. I managed to take an ear swab and painfully dig a lot of it out of one of the holes and the side of it, but the hole on the other side was too small.

I really thought I had been brushing well, but I guess I wasn’t. I don’t know what to do. I can’t seem to get any of the food out, and it’s starting to hurt more and more. Is there a high risk of infection? Should I see my doctor about it? Is there a chance it isn’t good and actually just blood clots that I’ve been removing?
Thank you for your time

Edit: I have learned that it may have actually been blood clots and not food, so I will for sure not be doing that again

Don't worry, I purposefully used cheap cotton swabs with very little actual cotton on them, and made sure none of it was left in the holes.

It is now the morning and whilst my teeth still hurt, the pain is a lot more managable

I recieved very little instructions on what to do and what to expect, and was mostly prescribed a bunch of medication. No one talked to me about something called irrigation for example

The point of putting the cotton swab in was that I had tried to flush out as much as possible, but I confused the blood clots for food and though it wasn't coming out
