Compensator will be getting re-done & corrected for proper fitment this weekend per the shops statement. But I still dig it though, Im considering if its even worth doing it over and just running it this way. The gun runs great without issues so im thinking of just living with it for now, since I do plan on getting another slide and frame it will have to come out either way than.

The first photo is a reference that I saw a few days after I had ordered my setup. I’m not sure if the barrel on the FDE HCP was the same as my True Precision Barrel. But I feel like the compensator should definitely sit tight(flush against my slide. The welding is another thing that im not sure how to feel about, the compensator was originally Black Nitrite they told me that it was heated up to weld so it burned off the coating🙂
I wont post the name of the shop only because I genuinely support the owners and respect their business, and im not posting this to bash them. I just expected nothing less then the same finish as the FDE HCP. Was this HALF ASSED OR DONE CARELESSLY ? Im not as excited about this as I was before I picked it up.

When I picked it up the owner could tell I wasn’t too happy about how the gun turned out & didn’t charge me for the pin & weld job ($120). And he sold me a used echelon with 2 mags for $500, which I had my eyes on it already so I went for it.

But the more im looking at others peoples similar setups, the more im starting to question if my job was just done without care, and if I should try talking to the owner about how I feel even though I did tell him this in person, I feel like If I was willing to pay the original $120 the job should have been flawless.

Im kinda not too hyped that there isnt more “Tiger Stripe Camo” coverage so it makes it looks like 2 different patterns. For $65 it should have came with more camo pattern.
