Anyone got experience they can share contracting above the line with KBR? What are the biggest pros/cons?

I was wondering what the point of working APS is since the pay is significantly less than working for a prime or contracting?

I understand there are additional benefits + higher super, but why wouldn’t you transition to a prime or contract?

Namely Thales, Hanwha, BAE, Boeing etc
