First Credit Card - Recommendation

Need Credit Card Recommendations Based on My Spending Pattern

Current CIBIL: 785

Age: 24

Monthly Income & Employment Status:
Salaried Employee – ₹40k/month (~₹35k in hand)

Monthly Expenses & Spending Patterns:
Approx monthly spending: ₹15k–₹20k/month

Top 5 Monthly Spend Categories:
• Fuel – ₹7,200–₹8,000/month
• Grocery – ₹1,000/month
• Dining/Food Delivery – ₹1,000–₹2,000/month
• Shopping – ₹5,000/month
• Bills/Utilities/Travel – ₹3,000–₹4,000/month

Estimated monthly total from above categories:
• Minimum: ₹17,200
• Maximum: ₹20,000
• Average: ~₹18,600/month

Top 5 Annual Spend Categories:
• Travel – ₹60k/year - Frequent
• Electronics – ₹40k (recurring every 3–5 years)
• Shopping/Festive purchases – ₹5k (rare/non-recurring)
• Music instruments – ₹50k/5y (Rare, Non-recurring)
• Other – ₹10k/year

Preferences for Credit Card Features:
• Low/zero annual fee preferred
• Good reward rate
• Fuel benefits

Reward Preference:
Cashback or Reward Points – Either

Lounge Access Required:
Okay with either, not a frequent flyer

Other Special Needs:
• Existing cards: None
• Looking for a Lifetime Free card
• Fuel-focused
• Beginner card

Additional Context: I’m a Data Analyst fresher with little experience using credit cards and looking for my first card. SBI is currently offering me a ₹2L limit, and I’d prefer a limit around that since large purchases can consume available credit.

Major expenses:
• Gym membership – ₹20k/year
• Instruments – ₹50–60k (rare purchases)
• Tech (phone, smartwatch, headphones, etc.) – ₹70k–₹1L every 3–5 years

Apart from this, I pay my education loan EMI monthly, around 20k every month and invest ₹5k–₹7k in mutual funds.

Music related expenses are mostly rare or once in a lifetime purchases - Planning to buy 60-70k around instruments this year, and then none for upcoming 3-5 years since I own a lot of instruments already.

Please suggest the best cards based on rewards/value, fuel benefits and other important things I should look out for, in a card.

Professional Flute Player Looking for Mic + Audio Interface Recommendations (and Learning Resources)

Hey everyone,

I’m a Hindustani Classical Bamboo flute player looking to improve my recording setup for studio-quality practice recordings, performances, reels, YouTube content, and possibly live streaming.

I’d love recommendations for buying my first equipment:

  • Microphones (especially for flute/woodwinds) - Considering SM58
  • Audio interfaces - Considering Focusrite scarlett 2i2
  • Learning resources for recording/mixing flute professionally.

What I currently own -
I have a MSI Sword Laptop with 4060 Graphic card and decent specs to run Ableton 12 and other DAWs and to process things and an S24 Ultra for shooting as well as decent Sony WH-CH720N headphones.

Current setup is nonexistent, I’m open to building a beginner setup in my room by myself for mainly live streaming and live music but also supporting content creation.

I’d really love some guidance since I am completely new to audio engineering and DAW. Would love to learn everything from scratch and in detail for flute.

Thanks in advance!

▲ 1 r/smartwatch+1 crossposts

I (25M) am a Samsung 24U user and would want to buy my first Galaxy watch (since it's most compatible with samsung).

My daily routine would include

1-2 hour of Gym.

Sleep tracking

Steps tracking throughout the day.

Attending a few important calls (rarely) while I'm in gym or walking, so that I don't have to carry my phone everywhere.

1-2 hours of Football/Soccer every week.

Would be wearing it all the time except charging. (Can ideally charge it everyday for 30-50 mins while I shower.)

Currently waiting for GW9 lineup to get announced this June-July to get some additional discounts on the current lineup

Questions

Which watch in the current lineup GWU/GW8C would be better suited for the purpose.

Usually how many years a particular watch lasts, taking in account daily wear and tear and battery usage over the years.

Would it be worth it and recommended to go for a smartwatch? (I own a Casio G shock GA-B2100, solar charging so I don't have to worry about getting batteries replaced every now and then). Been 2 years and It's 24 hours on my wrist.

Please feel free to share your experiences and recommendations and any other questions that you feel are worth knowinf before owning a smartwatch.

Thank you☺️
