[TOMT] [Movie] [Anime]
Looking for a dark/gritty anime movie I watched as a kid, probably from the 80s or 90s
I've been trying to find this for years and remember only a few key scenes:
**The Motorcycle Katana Scene:**
There's a chase scene on motorcycles where characters fight with katanas while riding. One of the bad guys is carrying a box which he refers to as "The Mother" — I believe it contains some kind of liquid.
**The Church Ruins Scene:**
They end up at what looks like an abandoned church or ruins of one. The bad guy arrives and checks the box only to find it's been cut/damaged by a katana and a small amount of liquid is leaking out onto the floor. Where the liquid touches the ground, flowers instantly grow out of it. The bad guy reacts emotionally — either angry or crying — over what happened.
**The Wheelchair Scene:**
Somewhere in the movie, the villain or his crew pushes an elderly man dressed very formally (like a boss/mob figure) in a wheelchair off a tall building that appears to still be under construction.
**Style/Era:**
The animation style was dark and gritty. It felt like an older anime, probably 80s or 90s. I watched it as a kid on a local TV channel.
