Can we take our biracial daughter to Juneteenth events?
Hi,
I have seen some people say that White people should not attend Juneteenth celebrations because it is supposed to be a safe Black space. I get that.
Our daughter is biracial and we want her to experience her Black culture. We thought it would be important for her to experience Juneteenth.
Is it okay to take our daughter? We are on vacation so had planned to attend in the area we are visiting.

How can I make this brick house more modern. I already painted the brick.
I have a brick house from the 1900s. I want to make it modern. I painted the brick a light color, removed the shutters, and changed the columns. Anything else I should do?
Here is the front porch.
I removed all of the silly trees and rose bushes.
Edited to add: For real, this was my best friend’s house for decades and she sold it and this is what the investors who bought it have done.
