Crop Growth
Hey everyone! I've been having a crop growth issue since starting a new world and could use some help.
In mid-late May I planted various crops on high-fertility soil with no water source nearby, so I've been watering them manually (moisture has never dropped below 70%). Despite this, some crops simply refuse to grow, particularly flax. Within the same plot, one plant can be at stage 4 while another one next to it is still at stage 1.
I initially suspected low light levels due to planting it in a forest, so I cleared all surrounding trees, but nothing changed, crops already at stage 3 progressed to 4, while the stuck ones remained at stage 1. Notably, my sunflowers are thriving at stage 6, but every other plot has this same pattern of some crops advancing normally and others stuck at stage 1.
Any idea what might be causing this?
Edit: I think I figured it out thanks to TristamIzumi's recommendation. Some crops where planted when moisture was at 0%, these crops have up to 4 days left until they get to next stage, unlike the other ones that have 12ish even though they are already at a higher stage.
Edit 2: Lost some seeds, but after replanting the stage 1s it seems like everything will grow in an appropriate amount of time
