Tattooing over Top Surgery scars-help

really wants tattoo. cant touch own chest. what do?
For those who have had their chests tattooed after top surgery, how painful was it?
I have an appointment scheduled to talk about the art piece before actually drawing and tattooing it. BUT im EXTREMELY scared of the pain and I feel overwhelmed about the idea of experiencing that pain.
I like to say I have a high pain tolerance though, I can handle 3-4 hours in the chair and usually don't need breaks. Ive had my hands and ankles tattooed too. But my chest is different... it feels different than the rest of the skin on my body and it reacts differently.
Its been almost 3 years since ive had top surgery and its still sensitive as the day they were chopped off. Im genuinely SO protective of my chest I dont let my husband touch it anywhere. Even I can barely handle touching my scars. It makes me physically recoil and feel sick to my stomach.
Id appreciate if anyone whos gone through something similar tell me what its like. I want to get my chest tattooed so bad but if even I cant touch my chest, then how will a tattoo artist touch my chest? Also if you want to post pics of your tattoos, im looking for inspo👀👉👈
