New Puppy!!!
This is George, my new best friend. He’s 12 weeks old and an absolute joy! He particularly enjoys peeing on my floor, chewing on my furniture, and overall desecrating the sanctity of my home, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Any tips or tricks on training would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for saying hi

Need some advice on potty training.
I just brought home my Rottweiler puppy yesterday and he’s a joy. But there’s some issues with him going to the bathroom outside. It’s not just that he’s peeing in my apartment a lot, but that he seems to only pee in my apartment and the common areas of the building.
I’ll have him outside for 20+ minutes standing still and not saying anything and he won’t go, then the second I bring him back inside he relieves himself. The rare times he has gone outside I’ve given him positive reinforcement. Showered him with praise and given him a treat.
I’m not sure what to do. I’ve googled the issue but the only thing I’m seeing is “wait for him to go outside” or put him in his crate, wait for a few minutes, then bring him out again, but he won’t even make it to his crate before peeing inside.
