Hi everyone - I’ll keep this short.

I’m a trans woman white UK citizen flying from Auckland NZ to London Heathrow in a couple of months time. The scheduled layover is at SFO - I understand that I’ll have to go through borders, grab my bags, switch terminals, check in again, and then do TSA in the 5 hours layover time.

My question is how safe are US borders at the moment for trans passengers ? All my documents are updated from birth and correct, my appearance aligns with them, but perhaps my voice does not. Would I be held up at TSA given what I’ve seen elsewhere tactfully described as a ‘groin anomaly’ ?

Any recent experiences would go a long way for my planning.
