Poisoned myself with resin dust
Don't be like me.
I have build cosplay armor for a few months now. Recently i started working in resin parts for it. I print in a separate storage unit with lab coat, respirator and gloves and cure in the same room as well. Nothing but fully cured parts leave that room.
BUT... i have been lightly sanding parts in my living room. I just do it on the hardwood floor and let my roomba vacuum the dust off the floor after with a hepa air purifier running in the room as well.
Four weeks ago i started coughing. Really dry cough that didn't go away with wheezig so bad i was gasping for air at times. I even spent a couple days in hospital due to me notbeing able to breath. I wasn't working on resin parts so i didn't connect the dots.
Turns out my couch was so saturated with resin dust that it made me physically sick. I twas stored in my printing unit for two years as well... i wet cleaned it with cleaning solution and a steam cleaner and my cough gone in a a day..
Tldr. I was on sick leave for four weeks due to a resin dust inflicted cough.
