Looking for resources to learn Interslavic as someone who speaks a slavic language

So I really want to learn interslavic, but whenever I look for courses they're always seemingly intended for those who don't know slavic languages at all. I don't think learning vocabulary words is particularly beneficial for me. I guess my question is are there any simple texts anyone can recommend, or maybe tips on how to learn it effectively? Resources on grammar, conjugation, and sentence structure would be helpful as well

Looking to watch 80s-90s American movies similar to October Sky

A few years ago my civics teacher showed us the movie October Sky bc of its pretty optimistic message, and I really liked it, and it did make me feel a little optimistic. I really like 80s-90s movies, and I'm looking for something that features some of the following (doesn't have to hit all of the points):

• Slice of life

• Optimistic, positive tone/message

• Focus on friendships

• No action or fantasy elements

• Set in a small town

Animated movies that weren't made in the 80s-90s, but capture the vibe well work too.

Edit: wow this is the quickest I've ever gotten feedback on a post, thank you all for your suggestions. I've looked into a couple of the movies, and one of the terms I've seen come up a few times is "coming of age", so I guess this is one of the things I'm looking for
