Haven't played in a year or so, considering wiping my launch save to get a fresh start and get to experience the new early game. Is this a good idea or am I making a horrible mistake?
Burnt out on my other games and saving up to move out so I am going back and revisiting some older games I haven't touched in awhile and saw that an update for FW just came out. I haven't played in probably a year and a half and was looking through the updates/guides and see there is a ton of new content and quests and reworks, that I thought it might be fun to experience the newer new player experience rather than what it was at launch. Am I setting myself up for a harder time or will this be fun? I usually love the early part of games and extraction/loot games.
Has the game changed a ton since then as well for balancing of weapons? I saw some heavier/higher tier ones are now crafting exclusive it seems. And how is crafting? My main love of games like this is looting and crafting rather than shooting lol.
Also I don't see any way of resetting my save in the game? Do I just do the method of disabling steam cloud save and moving/deleting my save data so a new one set of files is made?
