I did this mural for the VA
As the caption says I painted this mural on a shed at a Veterans Affairs facility, but it is in the back of the building so I wanted to share it with the community.
The mural is of Colorado inspired mountains and sunset from the view of Denver area. On the other side (looking east) is the sunrise over rolling hills and two made up Colorado wild flowers.
In this project I had the opportunity to work with some veterans to paint the shed. My favorite part about this experience is the deep, almost therapeutic, conversations that resulted from this relaxed, non-judgmental and creative environment.
Hoping to find another big canvas soon!
