Kansen alleenstaand kopen in Den Haag

Hoi Allemaal.

Silkify asked me to delete my review, then blacklisted me when I refused

I kept seeing Silkify everywhere so I eventually tried their full-body laser. The therapist kept checking the timer, rushed through the treatment and skipped areas, including the middle of my back.

I left a review about it afterward. Management contacted me asking me to remove it. I refused, and after that they blacklisted me.

That honestly surprised me more than the rushed treatment itself. Has anyone else dealt with Silkify in Den Haag? Especially after leaving a negative review?

The central management HQ is in utrecht and they have a clinic there. That's why I posted it here.

Getuigen/camerabeelden gezocht aanrijding Haga Ziekenhuis

This cyclist rode away today around 2:15 PM after a collision. Are there people who recognize him or saw the accident? Or perhaps people living in the neighborhood have a camera on which he might be visible cycling past?

The cyclist was riding onto the Leyweg from the Veenendaalkade. He was looking to the right instead of the road he was riding onto….

I saw him just in time to brake hard so he wouldn't end up under the car. But the gentleman decided to ride away; even though I shouted at him to stop, it was: ‘you’re riding into me’ and he was gone. He cycled towards the Escamplaan and that is where I lost sight of him.

Black hair, dark eyebrows, red t-shirt, black cap with white logo, age early 20s and a normal build. He was riding a black bicycle with a broken front fork.

I honked loudly, so perhaps there are local residents or people standing at the bus/train stop who saw it.

The photo is a screenshot of a video that I unfortunately cannot post here.

Edit: voor de duidelijkheid, het was een aanrijding en ik heb op meerdere stukken schade. Dus de beelden nodig voor aangifte.

Trying to change GP in Laakkwartier — is this really a rule?

I wanted to change my GP because I don’t really feel that my current practice in Laakkwartier is very international-friendly, and they also seem quite behind when it comes to using technology.
So I contacted another GP nearby that I thought might be a better fit. They rejected my registration and told me that they don’t accept new patients if you already have a GP in the area.
I asked why, and apparently there’s no specific reason: “it’s just the rule.”
I honestly don’t really understand this. If I’m not happy with my current GP, am I basically not allowed to switch to another GP in the same area?
Has anyone else experienced this in The Hague/Laakkwartier? And does anyone know if this is actually a standard rule, or just something this particular practice does?
At this point I’m starting to think I’ve just ended up with another GP that isn’t very internationally friendly 😅

Huisarts in Voorburg?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a good huisarts in Voorburg that is international friendly? I’m a native English speaker with average Dutch language skills, so would prefer a GP with decent English if possible. Ideally looking for someone good with women’s health 😊
Thanks!

Korean books?

Does anyone know of a shop in The Hague where you can buy Korean books?

So, actual novels or non-fiction in Korean, preferably also by Korean writers. I'm not looking for Korean stuff translated into Dutch or English and I'm not looking for textbooks for learning the language.

Thanks in advance ☺️

Restaurants near Pathe Scheveningen

Meeting a friend for a movie on Saturday and looking for recommendations. She is pescatarian and I'm happy with anything. She loves the beach but the weather might not be in our favour. She's had a rough time lately so really would like to spoil her so any recommendations are appreciated!

The Hague Oliebollen stand

I was in the Hague last year as visitor, though I stayed a day I loved the city,

My visit coincidentally with this Oliebollen stand, I tested some delicious doughnuts 😅. Whilst it I got an information from someone living in the city (not Dutch) that I am lucky because the store open just a tiny time of the year.

So, I would like to check this information from native citezns, if yup, does it have an historical event or a specific occasion connected with the city?

Scuba diving clubs?

Hi all! I recently got my advanced open water abroad and would really love to continue diving as a hobby. I am looking for a fun diving club around The Hague to meet other divers and to keep diving! I’m 30F and looking for a club with some people around the same age :) I’d love to hear your experiences if anyone has any!

Any good laptop repair places?

Basically the title. Can anyone recommend a decent place that fixes phones / laptops?

In my experience it can be difficult to find a trustworthy place that's not trying to rip you off.

I accidentally threw out something very expensive in an underground container. Any chance I can get it back? :')

I was cleaning the house and threw out a box of what I thought was trash, but turns out my wife kept a lot valuable stuff inside. I threw it in the underground container next to my house. The municipality is unavailable till Monday and I don't know what to do.

update: apparently its really easy to open the side door even if you don't have a D-sleutel. just a screw driver works fine. I lowered a TikTok ring-light, and I actually saw what I threw out (bottom left). I used a leaf scraper to pick it up, but I dropped it and the contents fell out. Will ask neighbors tomorrow morning to see if someone has something a bit longer or more friendly than a tuinhark. And in case someone thinks I will climb inside: I don't think that's a good idea.

update 2: with the help of my neighbor I climbed in and out. I put some cardboard on the edge of the entrance and slided in, feet first face down. Dropping yourself is a little bit scary because its 2m deep. To climb out I used a small step ladder that i balanced on top of trash. In and out took about 5 minutes.

update 3: (in case anyone finds themselves in a similar situation, if you call 14070 and go through the entire tape of options, you can get through an emergency line, which connects you to the police. They can send someone over to help even if its weekend, but in my case it wasn't emergency enough.)
