Free party/tekno scene around south holland?

I was wondering if there is this kind of music scene around here as I struggle to find people who share this music taste of like acid/tribe/tekno/psytrance and the commercial events don’t really have this kind of music either. Is it just bc I don’t have the right connects or is the scene just quite small here, and if so how can I like work my way in.

How do u handle the fear/risk of STDs?

My bf(23) and I(22) have been dating for 3 years. We love eachother a lot and I guess we’ve always thought we were sort of endgame but in some ways wished we had some more experiences before settling down. I’ve had plenty of experiences w men I never want to touch another ine again, but I really like women and I never got to explore that part enough (women are harder, I was also struggling w substance abuse at the time and many women would think I was too complicated etc) I was open about this from the start that this might be smth I always regret.
As for him, before meeting me he didn’t know he was a sexual person he only had 2 experiences w others that sucked and now he feels like he wants to see what’s experiences are there. He’s not interested in anything emotional tho and we want our relationship to be the priority but we think maybe it’s possible this makes us happier by removing those aspects. I think also at this young age, giving up on the thrill of novelty especially if it feels like it’s gonna be permanent can be a bit scary? But anyways I think the main thing holding me back is sexual health

I had a stubborn uti 2 years ago which led to vestibulodynia(vulvar pain which made use not be able to be intimate for basically the last 2 years but it’s now healing finally) but it has taught me that stds aren’t judt an illness u take meds and it goes away. It can have long term impacts and yeah it’s just scary bc it can take so much from u. How do u guys handle this fear/risk?

Spreading redness after clearing staph infection 2 weeks ago

I’ve been basically isolating for weeks waiting for my lips to heal and now this redness started spreading from a small patch on my bottom lip this morning. Idk why, idk how, I’ve been sooooo so careful with irritants, contamination everything. Idk if the heatwave contributed. Does it look fungal? Bacterial? I also asked my gp he says it looks normal but I know it’s not. This morning it was pale. I just don’t know what to do anymore I did a super intense antibiotic course and was so careful f that didn’t cut it idk what will. My lips have been fucked for 8 months I can’t take it much longer. Any advice or insights are very appreciated. I have a derm appointment on Tuesday so 5 days from now but I’m wondering if I should put an otc antifungal so that it doesn’t continue spreading if it is that? Idk I’m so sick of having to handle everything alone.

Help healing my lip barrier after an 8 month recurring infection.

After 8 months of a recurring staph infection on my lips, I have been clear for 2 weeks. I have been basically staying at home to make sure absolutely nothing triggers inflammation like it did in the past(inflammation causes breakage and staph comes back in), using Vaseline to protect them but I’m starting to lose it I can’t stay locked in much longer. However my barrier is still so weak. I’m scared to go out go in the sun do my hobbies go to the beach swim kiss my boyfriend drink alcohol… I used cicaplast levres on and off these last few weeks but I’m not sure it’s helping, sometimes they feel more sensitive after applying so I stopped. I’m kind of scared to try steroid creams or pimecrolimus and stuff bc I’m scared it’ll trigger a staph relapse (happened in the past).

But I need to speed up this healing process somehow. The lips are paler, I can start to see some vertical ridges but they’re still very fragile and sensitive if there’s no Vaseline on them, and sometimes theres redness on the rims. If any of u had similar issues trying to rebuild ur lip barrier, was there anything that helped?

8 months staph infection on my lip, I’m so exhausted

I actually feel like I can’t do this anymore. I’ve had a staph infection on my lips for 8 months, since October. It started after using treclinax for my chin acne(I kept a safe distance between my lips and it) it dried my skin and I guess I had a staph colony in my nose so it rushed down and infected my lips. I’ve done a fucidin antibiotic treament 3 times(it’s sensitive to it)between December and may , the third I also decolonised my nose. Each time it goes away and comes back 2 weeks later.

When it came back this last time, my derm prescribed oral antibiotics for 10 days and Mupirocin for 14 days in my nose, I’m done with Mupirocin in 2 days but I realised yesterday that there’s impetigo on my eyelid. I have no idea how this happened. I’ve had blepharitis for 2 years so I get that I have a higher baseline amount of staph there, but I’ve never had impetigo judt flat on my eyelid. I’ve been doing everything so carefully, I apply Vaseline always to make sure it’s protected I wash my hands religiously I change my pillowcase daily I’m doing everything perfectly and still it’s not enough. I’m just so tired

I’ve had to stop all my hobbies bc they unfortunately trigger inflammation which slows down the barrier repair(pottery, silversmithing and sewing) I can’t have my face in the sun, I can’t be outside for too long bc they get dry and I need to wash my hands before applying Vaseline, I can’t even kiss my boyfriend. Everything feels like and is a risk and I’m just so tired of living like this.

Supporting yourself as a student?

I’m 22 student and so far my parents have been providing financially. For a while now I’ve been considering getting independent from them simply because I have such a bad relationship with them and I’m sick of them using this as a means make me or manipulate me to do things and also just so tired of fighting with them. If I’m independent I only need to speak to them if I want to. I have no savings as they didn’t let me get a job. As of September I can be eligible for the basic grant, if I’m independent I can get a part time job and maybe a loan to cover the rest.

I guess I’m asking if I’m in over my head? To those supporting themselves alone as students, would u put up with a shitty family dynamic if it meant they paid living expenses for you?
