Following the Age of Sigmar tournament, we are holding a Warhammer
40,000 tournament this Saturday. The format is simple: bring your
1,000-point army, and you will be assigned a mission and an opponent on

The event description says songs in English, with local Dutch cast. So is the theatrical parts in Dutch and the singing in English, or the whole thing is in English?
Especially since they've been unmarked and masked and looking literally like rando out to rob people or gangs. Plus the absolute outrageous shit they've been doing like these shootings. How have they not been shot back at yet?
I know the organizer of this event, and I go to her Monday night IRL game nights for 2 years and have made friends there. She's a strong LGBTQIA ally, and very knowledgeable and experienced in hosting game nights. So I think the online version is a good space for queer women who want to meet and befriend other queer women to utilize. Late is still more than never I guess, and it's something I've wanted to do my whole life but never started until now. I think it'll help me feel better about my body, without ever transitioning. I think it'll be this long term many years thing that will be 1 regret less when I die at who knows when. Just don't know what I need to do, how much, or how often to reach this goal post.

Op zaterdag 4 juli aanvang 13.00 uur houden wij een Warhammer Age of Sigmar toernooi. De opzet is simpel: je komt met je lijst van 1000 punten, de namen van alle deelnemers gaan in de hoge hoed en we trekken de tegenstanders, en er worden 2 rondes van max 2,5 uur gespeeld. Puntenlimiet: 1.000 (je kan eronder zitten, maar niet erboven).
Unit Points Limit: 350 (om te voorkomen dat iemand een monster/eenheid meer dan de helft aan punten kost)
Maximaal 2 regimenten (inclusief generaalsregiment)
Een leger is battleready zoals elke minigeverft is, battle ready legers krijgen +5 overwinningspunten aan het einde van een battle
🪖GEVECHTSREGELS:
Elk potje duurt 5 Battle Rounds, wij reserveren hiervoor 30 minuten per ronde per tafel (2,5 uur per battle)
Op de start van elke gevechtsronde krijgt elke speler 4 commandopunten
De "Underdog" krijgt 1 extra commandopunt (gaat in na ronde 1)
Als een speler kiest voor een "Dubbele ronde", kunnen ze geen punten scoren via Battle Tactics
Elke speler rolt om te zien wie begint met de Deployment/Set-up, winnaar kiest "attacker" of "defender", aanvaller start met plaatsen modellen

On Saturday, July 4th, starting at 1:00 PM, we will organize a Warhammer Age of Sigmar tournament. The setup is simple: you bring your list of 1,000 points, the names of all participants go into a hat, we draw the opponents, and two rounds of a maximum of 2.5 hours are played. Not a member? No problem, then you pay 5.00 to take part in the tournament. Visitors are welcome to spectate.

🪖ARMY RULES:
Point Limit: 1,000 (you can go below, but not above).
Unit Points Limit: 350 (to prevent anyone from costing a monster/unit more than half the points)
Maximum of 2 regiments (including General's Regiment)
An army is battle-ready once every mini-painted; battle-ready armies receive +5 victory points at the end of a battle
🪖BATTLE RULES:
Each game lasts 5 Battle Rounds; we reserve 30 minutes per round per table for this (2.5 hours per battle)
At the start of each combat round, every player receives 4 command points
The "Underdog" receives 1 extra command point (effective after round 1)
If a player chooses a "Double Round", they cannot score points via Battle Tactics
Each player rolls to see who starts the Deployment/Set-up; the winner chooses "attacker" or "defender"; the attacker starts by placing models
Are there rules and regulations forbidding that from those various courier companies? Or are we allowed to give our delivery drivers a cold drink/cold wet towel when they come to our street/door? I don't think their van AC cools anything when they have to keep opening van doors and jumping out every 5 minutes.

I tried to join the conversation, got talked over and cut off repeatedly. I tried to make menu recommendations, but got countered. I tried to order a taster menu for myself so there would be at least 1 source of many-flavor-tiny-dishes style. Got countered. I tried to help her out by gingerly suggesting a yogurt drink or giving me the rest of her spicy dish, and got brick-walled. I tried a second time and got an expression that read like "One more out of you and I will actually be mad at you."

At the end of the dinner she lamented that she didn't give her visiting friend the best experience of Indian food because he didn't get to try a multitude of flavors because he couldn't eat more than only his own dish due to 1.) few selections to begin with, and 2.) spicy level.

I don't know what got me into this, but I guess I'll sideline myself now and just let her friend and her enjoy each other's company and jokes for the rest of the day/visit. As long as I don't make her lose face by being obviously out of participation.

I'm pretty new to DnD, so I picked Fighter. I like him so far, but each time I google to learn more about how to play DnD Fighter, I read thigns like Fighters are useless after a few levels because the fancy classes will finish the fight and solve encounters all the time with charisma, spells, etc. etc.
He's probably too weird a combo of subclass/background/things to min-max. I just want to know how to play him well enough to not be an effect-less ghost trailing the rest of the party. I like my little guy and I want to keep having fun with him, but I am getting worried he will soon become useless in a group full of warlock, wizard, artifacier, rogue, and a babarian too.
He's a regular human fighter with Banneret subclass, Chandolan Freebooter background, Purple Dragon Rook feat, and Thrown Weapons Fighting Style, strength focus.
[Edit] Thank you all so much for your encouragement to have fun and dare to just do things first and foremost :) As for the questions about why Banneret subclass... I forgot why. We made our characters in Session 0, and it was recommended to me as more interesting than my initial idea of 'drunk sailor cargo docks security guy'.
