I have no idea what caused this
Hello. My beautiful 7 month old kitten Ruby consumes a daily diet of wet and dry food (1 main wet food meal in the morning and eats dry food for the rest of the day) yesterday morning I had to rush her to the vet because she lost her appetite and stopped eating. She was violently vomiting (see pictures). Her temp was very high and had to get an iv bag. The vet recommended she stays in the hospital for two days just in case. They informed me she thankfully stopped vomiting and told me this was probably cause by something different she consumed. I give her a wet food petite pouch from the brand Kit-cat (the brown chicken flavor) and has the kitten applaws dry food. I genuinely don’t know what caused this??? Please tell me what to avoid for this to never happen again. I’ve been sobbing non stop. All of this happened only yesterday. She was completely fine and normal the day before.
Please be kind. I’ve only had her for 3 months and it’s my first time.
