Time is a funny thing.

10 years ago you were not the same person, believing life couldn't get better.

10 years from now, you will look back, grateful for what you've overcome.

Time will take things away;

opportunities, people and moments.

However time will also give;

it holds your hand as you reflect on how far you've come.

Try not to focus on what we've lost, or we will miss what we have in the present.

Time is a rocky road,

sometimes there are delays,

sometimes you hit a bump,

But every second, minute and hour

counts toward the journey ahead.

Time is a funny thing—

it gives,

it takes,

and most of all,

it heals.
