Was my friend disrespectful toward my parents?
I (21F) invited a friend (21F) to my house last weekend. I live with my parents. We've been friends since a couple of years but she came to my house for the first time. So it was her first time meeting my parents.
My friend actually came to our house in flip flops, took them off inside and went completely barefoot inside our house. My parents and I offered her slippers but she declined.
We were sitting around our dining table in our living room (without eating or drinking anything). My friend was sitting with her legs on her chair. I saw her occasionally barely placing her toes and leaning her feet on the edge of the dining table without completely placing her feet on the table.
After that, we were sitting around the coffee table and she immediately put both her feet on the coffee table. Since my parents were sitting in front of her, her soles were directly facing them. Was she disrespectful toward my parents?
